The answer to my need for a pet friendly, effective way to feed my lawn

Having two dogs I started to back off on the use of fertilizer .
This led to a drop in the quality of the lawn even with the over seeding and some erosion occured due to the slope of certain areas of the yard. I started using Scott Natural Lawn food this year with the plan of feeding every 8 weeks to repair damage . The yard is greening up very well even with the lack of rain we had in the area this spring , the grass is coming in thick and lush with the combination of the lawn food and the over seeding . The product won't help with weeds but the lawn looks great and it's safe for the dogs which is what counts for me.

I have been using another Natural Lawn Food for many years and the price and shipping had gotten out of hand. Tried Scotts Natural Lawn Food and found it easier to apply and the grass is already much greener after just one week! The price is right also. Glad I found this product.

Making my dog sick

My landscaper applied this to my lawn and now my dog is displaying neurological symptoms of something going on. I will not use it again not recommend it. I don’t know how to get it out of my yard.

St Augustine Grass

I would like to see a lawn food that is higher in the last two numbers to help feed my St Augustine grass.
First number makes it green
Second number make it send up grass blades
Third number send out runners and roots
I need my grass to run to keep coverage thick

Great Fertilizer

We bought a foreclosure and the neglected lawn was in very bad shape. Weeds had taken over but l didn't want to start from scratch. I started a program of weed control, over seeding and routine fertilizing. I tried several fertilizer products before I found Scotts Natural. The safety of the product appealed to me. Scotts Natural Lawn Food works very well so now I buy no others.
Its taken a couple of seasons of work, but We now have a healthy green lawn. The safer Natural fertilizer just works.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective, safety
Cons: Bad Odor, price

Better for lungs without chemical order

No chemical order was great for me but our small dog kept eating it out of the grass that was his outdoor area. The next day and night he had uncontrolled stools inside and out so I spent the night taking him out. We watered the product in yet the afternoon applied but not fast enough. My spouse says never again.
