Worst spreader i ever purchased.

Bought last year. The edge guard lever stopped working and the agitator fell off. What a piece of junk.

Not a good spreader

When I use the spreader with the proper settings according to the instructions on the bag I have almost half of the fertilizer left. I have had to go over my lawn two to three times to use all of the fertilizer. My lawn is roughly 12,000 square feet give or take a few. What should to opening be on the spreader or is there some way to adjust the slide to make it more accurate. I thought it would be calibrated from the factory

Excellent support from manufacturer

I've had this product for several years now and it has worked well. Recently there has been a problem with the control for the edge guard mechanism. Scotts have been very quick in responding to my issue and are now simply sending me out a replacement part. One could not ask for better service than this!

Edge guard lever

Purchased one of these and was hopeful the edge guard woul work as it should! Been using Scotts for a long time and always trusted the quality! But, this time, not so much! Great idea but the lever stopped working the guard the second time going to use it! So, sent it back and purchased a second one! The lever did the same thing! The guard was however moveable by hand, but thats not the intended use with a lever! Not too happy with quality this time! If there is a fix for the lever please let me know so I can fix and not send back again! Thank you!

Wheel broke off after 10 min. No instructions

I bought this speaker couple weeks ago. No instructions how to set up either on the product from Scotts or thr spreader or on line. Each refers to the other. Trial and error only resort
Mostly. Started to use on flat grassy area and left wheel broke off thats BS

Lousy design second soreader 2 yrs lesves stripes

We take consumer feedback very seriously and will pass your comments and concerns on to our Quality Control Division. Please check that the rotor, gearbox or agitator is not bent or damaged. When applying, if not walking fast enough the spreader will not fling the product properly and therefore will potentially hit the wheels. All of our broadcast spreaders under went a design change at the end of 2020 that changed rotor angle and changed the agitator back to a 2-wing agitator. These changes reduce the potential for the product to hit the wheels.

This product did not work very good.

I used Scott's triple fertilizer and had a striped lawn. The fertilizer stuck to the inside wheel ribs.
