Terrible product

I bought one at the start of summer used it once and it broke so I exchanged it for a new one big mistake there I used that once and it is now broken too I would not recommend this product to anyone terrible product

Don't waste your money!

I bought this model a little over a year ago. The first season it worked ok, but the flimsy Edgeguard feature was constantly jamming, so I found it to be useless. The second season the cheap plastic agitator assembly completely broke off, rendering the product unusable. The wheels are cheap, the design is flawed using cheap plastic materials that won't last.

Poor quality

I bought this product today and am very disappointed. The center agitator pops off and allows fertilizer to enter into the internal components. The shield that is responsible for edging rubs agains the broadcast mechanism causing the drive wheel to stop moving periodically.
I bought this item because I trusted the Scott’s name and spent a little extra to have something that would last. It has been a poor purchase.

Poor quality

I used mine to seed and fertilize my yard last season. Worked ok but when I got it out this year the gear that spins the fertilizer broke in half. I cleaned it thoroughly and stored it inside after use.

Loved the spreader but not the tires

Bought this spreader about three years ago. I really liked the accuracy and ease of operation. My speader had inflatable tires. One of the tires lost pressure over the winter and came loose from the rim. I have found it impossible to reseat the tire on the rim. Poorly designed wheel. Nice speader but only one tire. Have been a loyal Scott's customer for many years. Very unhappy with this product.

Fertilizer will not come out hopper and barely spreads anything. Does not spread evenly.

Plastic not worth the price

The plastic drive shaft broke today. And i have looked on line to no avail to purchase this part.
