[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Miracle-Gro Performance Organics All Purpose Plant Food Granules and tried the product on some of my greenhouse vegetables, at first I was skeptical about the results but after approximately 3 weeks I saw a big improvement in the plants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy it is to use this product. Just flip open the top and shake it out among your flowers and vegetable plants and water it in. No muss, no fuss. Everything is looking healthy. I prefer this product to the stuff that has to be mixed in water.
Pros: Good Directions, Easy to Use, Quality, Value, Effective

Smells Terrible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All previous Miracle-Gro products that I've used have been great. However, I don't suggest using this product for any houseplants or outdoor plants that are close to windows or doors. The smell is absolutely atrocious and lingers for a few days.
Cons: Bad Odor
Pros: Easy to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This N-P-K value is just odd

So perhaps the container is convenient, but what about what's inside? This 9-2-7 NPK is good for triage for dying vegetation, it will strengthen root development and produce lots of green leafs ...but it is certainly not going to produce flowers/fruits so that pepper in the photo is deceiving. Also with a Potash value of 2 this should not be used in self watering containers. The only thing it's good food-wise for is herbs and greens where you want them to grow without bolting and flowering.

Works well but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I satisfied that the product delivered nutrients to my garden however the product did not completely dissolve in water which caused it to clog up my watering can. So if you are going to mix this product into the soil it would be OK, but I do not recommend it for use with a watering can.

very easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The container is very easy to use. You shake on on around the plants. Great for small areas. My little flowers are really blooming nicely after the application of the granules. The flowers are annuals and are much healthier than they have been in the past.

Mold and Flies

I’ve used Miracle Gro products for decades with great success. Thought I’d try Performance Organics. I applied it to most of my indoor plants, only to find white mold on every one of them a few weeks later, in addition to small gnats flying around them. Two of my plants are 30 year old Christmas Cacti and are usually already budding this time of year. They don’t show a hint of buds yet. I just hope they haven’t been ruined.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
