Miracle-Gro® Performance Organics Plant Nutrition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Miracle-Gro® Performance Organics Plant Nutrition is new. It says easy pull apart to open but I needed scissors. There is a fine dust that comes out so don't breathe it in. I used a Miracle Gro Garden feeder that hooks up to the hose to feed my flowers. It makes it easier than refilling my watering can but doesn't make me stronger. This plant food is different in that it is a natural gray color and not the bright aqua color like other plant food. I'm not sure how better it works because I haven't gotten results yet. I could tell that it was coming out because it had bubbles and I could smell it. It isn't a bad smell but it is noticeable. The nutrition numbers are: Nitrogen 11%, Phosphate 3%, Potash 8% Calcium 3% Copper .05%, Iron.10%, Manganese .05% Zinc .05%. Which seems to me to be really nice especially if you are feeding vegetables. This makes me want to try to grow some vegetables. I think I will buy this one again.

I purchased this product back in March 2020 and I’ve fed my plants religiously every 7-10 days since. The end result has not disappointed to say the least. I highly recommend this product.
Cons: Bad Odor
Pros: Good Directions, Easy to Use, Quality, Value, Effective

Could be great...

I try to only use organics in my gardens, but I also love Miracle Gro, so I was really excited to try this product. I definitely see results with my flowers in only two applications. However, and it's a big however, it takes 10 minutes for it to dissolve. I need to make several batches when I fertilize, and I can't sit around waiting in between. Right now I start several batches in smaller containers and transfer it as I'm ready, but it's pretty aggravating to do it this way. I would not buy again because of this. It really needs to be reduced to a powder if it is to be water soluble.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NEVER dissolves, even in hot water. Worse, this fertilizer burns the leaves of the plants, causing them to drop off. I use about a tenth as much fertilizer as the directions state, then use a funnel to put the cloudy emulsion directly into the soil.

Our vegetible and herbs are so very happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a small victory garden in the back and attend to it frequently, we have found that giving just water is not enough. The plants need additional food stuffs (much like we do) in order to thrive. We are happy with the timed release as this means there is less need to constantly feed and more time to enjoy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been disappointed in Miracle-Gro products ! The earth color granules are good size so you can see where they land. Being organic, this is great for your deck veggie and flower gardens as any granules spilled on floor will not kill your fuzzy kids. The cap flips open to make it a shaker or remove it to put in a water can as it is dissolvable !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Organics need love as well. So we started giving this feed to our little bit of heaven on earth. The plants are responding quite nicely. They are green and lovely. We see little buds starting to come on out. We used the sticks in the past, and were always concerned that these would over feed the plants. This system seems to give just the right amount.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the performance organic plant nutrition about 3 weeks ago. I applied it to my plants a couple of weeks back and expect to have good results. I like the fact that is done with organic and natural materials, and I like to grow my vegetables and herbs in pots, so, this product is perfect for what I do. The instructions are very clear and product is really easy to apply. I love it.
