[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just put it down. Already seeing weeds die. Love the bug killer in this product!! Speaks easily. No clog in the spreader like some other fertilizers. Fast nitrogen will help my yard after this bad freeze we just had.

Didn't kill Dollar Weed

Applied this product 3 weeks ago and the dollar weed has not been affected yet. Very disappointed as I applied 4 bags to my big yard. Guess I will go with a spray that I know works. Will be looking for my refund from Scotts.

We hate to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action. Dollarweed/Pennywort is difficult to control, particularly if the lawn is being watered too much. Most turf grasses only need 1 inch of water a week. Typically watering 1/2 inch twice a week will be sufficient for turf grass, while dollar weed thrives when there is excess water. We offer a guarantee that extends to all of our products. Going to try again dollar weeds from hell. I have 3 acres that never sees fertilizer and it has no weeds, why does it feed the weeds
Response from ScottsBy Agent, Consumer Services, September 21, 2021
We're sorry to hear Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action didn't control the dollarweed as expected. Dollarweed can be very difficult to completely eradicate, and it thrives in moist conditions. Reducing how often you water your lawn will help weaken it, making it more susceptible to weed controls. Please contact us here for assistance with our product guarantee: https://tinyurl.com/y8nvfsca

Seems like it does not work

Followed instructions, dollarweed, clover after 5 days are just as robust as they were before I put it down. Grass is not getting as green as if I just used regular Turf Builder.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action. For broadleaf weed control temperatures must be consistently (several days in a row) between 60 and 80 degrees. Weeds may temporarily appear healthier and greener after an application of a weed control. The weeds will die within 2 to 4 week period, depending on temperature conditions. We offer a guarantee that extends to all of our products. If this interests you, we ask that you contact us at https://tinyurl.com/y8nvfsca.

Still deciding if it's a good buy

I bought this product about a month ago under the recommendation of another customer shopping the product. I went home - read instructions - follow instructions - now I'm waiting for results. Yes - greener fast growing grass, but greener weeds too. Still waiting for those weeds to die. Big complaint is the friability of the bag. Shattered in a couple of places during use - I had to store what was left over in a bucket.

I put Scott’s stuff Builder Triple Action on over a week ago and cannot see where it has affected the weeds. Called for 4.5 setting on spreader. Should have been a higher setting?

We hate to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action. In order to determine the correct spreader setting, we would need to know which spreader you used. Please contact us at https://tinyurl.com/y8nvfsca if there is anything else that we can help you with.

Disappointed...

Bought this Scott’s Triple Action for the front yard for the first time. It has not lived up to my expectations. Still has dollar weed and clover and patchy, not green. I used Scott’s Bonus S on back yard and lawn looks great! So feel I wasted money on this product. ☹️
