Scott triple Action awful product

Do not buy this product.. I have always used weed and feed. I decided to try Scott's triple in the fence in yard where the dog plays I applied in late April my yard is full of crab grass I have lived in this house for 17 years and never had this issue. Luckily, I applied weed and feed on the front yard and I do not have this issue. This is causing me a lot of work and mobey. Now, I am trying to pull all the crab grass and clover in order to seed the area. Extremely disappointed with this product.

What all grasses need.

I brought this fertilizer in Las Vegas by accident and applied it to my lawn after I returned back to California, and my grass looks AMAZING! People pull over in their vehicles and ask me what type of fertilizer I used, and I only tell them that it's Scott's TurfBuilder beccause in California ome can't purchase this product. Our cousins are coming to visit in late April from Texas, and I requested that they bring four bags of this with them.

Works well to fertilize and treat the lawn, but fails at removing clovers and some other weeds. I put this product down twice during active weed season in Florida, during February. It's now mid-March and the impact on clover is negligible. I properly set my Scott's drop spreader to 4.5 and then put down another application at 5.0. The clover is extremely resistant to the product and given the cost, I may have better results using cheaper sprayers specific to the weeds in my lawn.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Directions
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good ant killer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works as described, took care if any problem and greened yard up at the same time. Just make sure it is right product for the grasses in your yard. Does not work in all types of grasses. I had and area of Bermuda grass that it burned.

Don't be a laughing stock in your yard!

I got sucked in on the TV Ad hype and being lazy, wanting a single application for ants, weeds, and grass fertilizer. Bought 4 bags of the Scotts Triple Action for Southern Lawns to apply to a 8,000 sq ft lawn. Each bag was good for 8,000 sq ft so this was "quadruple" the dose. Never had much luck previously buying this stuff from "big box" stores but thought 4 bags would surely do the job. I was careful to follow directions in all other regards and I have a fullly underground lawn irrigation system. Waiting and waiting many weeks with absolutely no results. Quite the opposite is happening. The ants are building condo complexes and the weeds are standing proud. Every time I walk out the ants and weeds put their heads together, wisper something, and laff at me. All the while the grass has its hands out looking for food. So buy this stuff if you want "inert" bags of "pretty colored granules" and you like being a laughing stock in your own yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bu coincidence, the day I used this product on my lawn, it rained. The next day my Florida Zoysia went from a dormant brown, to seeing green shoots sprouting. Within three days my lawn needed a mowing.
