Do not buy

Have used Scott’s before, but purchased a new house and this one has St. Augustine. I prepped just the same, mowed, wet so the grass was damp, then applied with Scott’s spreader. No rain for 5 days after, now it’s been 3 weeks and I’m fairly certain there’s more weeds (especially Dandelion) than there was before.

Amazing Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing Product. This stuff really works well. Put it down right before it rains and within the next day your weeds will be gone. Its like magic. Super big bag that will do a large area too! I was so surprised on how fast it started to work. Okay for pets that go into yards too!

This product works great when used as directed!

We use this product once the grass is no longer dormant. We plan our spread just before a light rain or we turn on our underground sprinklers. We have two acres, but we prefer using a hand spreader for control. We are very pleased with this product. We switch to the other Scott brands for the remainder of the year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts sent me this product. I was pleasantly surprised on how well this made some of my weak areas on my lawn stronger. This is a great product! I have purchased more for my next application. Will not buy another brand. My neighbors have commented on how good my lawn looks. I never hesitate to recommend this to them. Many have converted!

First time using Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple. I used it on two different properties; each property had different challenges. Also, gave some to a friend to try on their lawn. We are all very pleasantly surprised with the results - about 1-2 weeks later. Lawns are looking plush and the good grass is choking out the weeds and continues to do so. Good stuff! Thank you Scotts!

the company behind the product is questionable

still waiting for product. but Scott's gives conflicting instructions. the directions say apply to dry grass (both on the bag and on the website), but in their replies to reviews they say apply to wet grass. Scott's needs to be better about their directions. I applied it to dry grass per the instructions, but now I wish I had applied it to wet grass. I don't what to trust from Scotts anymore.

No weeds and no bugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was interested in this product mainly for its ability to prevent armyworms. We were attacked a few years ago and I saw signs of them again this fall so I applied this and never saw another moth. If it kills weeds and feeds my lawn that’s a bonus. I’ll use this again in the spring to hopefully keep the grubs down.
