I’m very disappointed

I’ve Always used your products and never had an issue until now. I used this new Southern Triple Action and I’m upset that my weeds are even worse. Idk I can’t figure it out but I’ll never use it again. I also thought these products were 100% guaranteed?? I’m just thankful I only purchased one bag instead of the 4 I usually purchase.

My Lawn Has Never Been Thicker

I used this produc on my very patchy centipede lawn at the beginning of Spring here in South Carolina. Extremely great results! grass has never been thicker and greener. I used one application on the front yard and one in the backyard . Neighbors compliment me often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sorry but I had high hopes for this product. I've waited a while since using before adding my review hoping that it actually did anything. But unfortunately, no. Weeds are still there, maybe even more so. Grass is no greener than before using nor growing thicker. Ants are still present. Big thumbs down to this product.

We are terribly sorry that you didn't get the results you expected after using Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action. The most common reason a lawn does not respond to fertilizer is soil pH. Soil pH must be between 5.5-7.5 for fertilizer to be absorbed by grass. A continued or general yellow look may indicate a lack of iron. Temperatures must be consistently (several days in a row) between 60 and 90 degrees for target weeds to be actively growing. When temperatures are high (over 90°+) weeds slow their growth down and can not absorb the product. Product can be reapplied in 6 to 8 weeks. I bought two bags last year and two bags this year. I now have my entire yard taken over by Dollar weeds. Horrible! Last week I mixed 1 gallon white vinegar,1 cup of salt and 1 Tbs dish liquid soap, sprayed on one of my thickest areas of Dollar weeds. Next day revealed 50& gone, second dat totally gone. Now my grass has a chance to grow and is peeping through.

The air temperature is critical and should be consistently between 60-90 degrees for optimal weed killing. Secondly, the product should be applied to a dry lawn and then gently watered in immediately afterwards. Lastly, overwatering or large rain events can be responsible for dissipating the product which leads to unsatisfactory results. Never Seen Anything Like This!

My new husband has neglected his yard for many years because of long working hours. I put this down in the spring and the results blowed him and myself Away! We couldn’t believe how fast and great it worked. We Now have the best yard on the street. Our neighbors stop and always ask how we got grass to grow so quickly. I highly recommend this product for anyone living in the South! Thank you Scotts for great products and free advice on your website!

Weeds are now flourishing as well as grass.

I bought triple action southern to kill off an attack of chickweed that sprung up after a drought passed only to find that while the St Augustine grass recovered, the weeds were flourishing too. The product had no effect on the weeds at all. I’ve had great success with many of Scott’s products in the past but this one completely misses the mark.
