Not as effective as Bonus S

Thought I would try this new product for my spring feeding instead of my usual Bonus S, thinking it would save time by not needing to put down a separate insect control for fire ants. It's been one month since I applied the product. I am finding clover and other weeds are still appearing in my lawn and I have found several large fire ant nests in the lawn as well. It has greened up the lawn very nicely, but I am disappointed in the weed and fire ant control. Also I don't like the fact that it costs more than Bonus S, but covers 1,000 sq feet less. I will not use this again. I will go back to the using Bonus S and a second application for insect and fire ant control. Too bad, I was really hoping this would save me time and work.

Cons: Didn't work as expected, doesn't prevent fire ants
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had used Bonus S for many years with great results. However, when Triple Action with ant killer was introduced, I switched. I have not been disappointed. I get the same excellent result I got with Bonus S, but with the added insect killing. It is like putting an insect barrier around the house. I do one application at the end of Winter and one during the Fall. Once every six months. How much easier can it get. The sprinklers come on twice a week, and I do not use city water. Because I live in Florida, some times we get too much water in the Summer and early Fall. If the grass yellows I add a little liquid iron. Thanks Scotts for a beautiful lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use & spread with seed spreader. No more ants & welcome green fresh grass. Cutting the grass first to start out fresh & then spread the seeds. Water continuously for a few weeks & you can see the difference. Loved how well my grass looked just after a few weeks.

Since i know a portion of my lawn will be removed i did not apply this product on that section. It happen that the job was delayed and the diff between where the product was applied and where not is huge. Weeds gone, greene…really worked as expected.

I put this down about 3 weeks ago and have more dollar weeds than when I started. Watering 3 times a week in the morning unless we get rain.

I used the Scott's weed & Feed and it killed some of my grass. There was no instructions telling me not to use on Bermuda grass. Also it did kill the weeds but they came back in three weeks - but not my grass Very dissatisfied with this product. I have used Scott's lawn product for years.

Applied exactly as per instructions . I think it actually fertilized the weeds rather than kill them. This is the 3rd year I've used this product with exactly the same result. Guess it's my fault for trying it this time, but it will be the last.

It definitely helped

I applied this product according to instructions and it definitely helped. It has killed off about 60% of the clover I had and it’s been about two weeks. So, I’m hoping a second application in about six weeks will eliminate it altogether. I definitely recommend this product.
