I’m very disappointed in this product followed the instructions and did 2 applications as instructed and still have weds.
Response from ScottsBy Agent, Consumer Service, August 6, 2019
We are sorry that you are disappointed with your purchase of Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action. Excessive watering or rain can drive the atrazine away from weed roots, causing it to be ineffective. We would be interested in hearing more about the issue so that we can take the appropriate steps to prevent this in the future. We also have a product guarantee that we would be happy to extend to you. At your earliest convenience, we ask that you contact us so that we can discuss these things. I applied the Scott’s triple product exactly three weeks before my lawn was devestated by wild hogs in the neighborhood. I would not recommend this product to kill grub worms!

Didn’t do Anything for my grass

This was a waste of money..my grass look the same..
Response from ScottsBy Agent, Consumer Service, February 28, 2020
We apologize for your dissatisfaction regarding Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action. The most common reason for lawns that do not respond to fertilizer is soil pH, which must be between 5.5-7.5 for fertilizer to be absorbed by the grass. Also, this product will only control weeds that are present at the time but will not prevent new weeds from germinating. We encourage you to contact us at http://tinyurl.com/mds8zo5 if there is anything else that we can assist you with.

Useless Product

I bought this product about 3 weeks ago. it did not do any of the three actions it claims. Now I have weeds and crabgrass is all over the place and did not even feed my lawn. I do not recommend it at all.
Response from ScottsBy Agent, Consumer Services, March 6, 2020
We are sorry Turf Builder Southern Triple Action did not perform as expected. This product does not prevent the weeds. It will kill listed broadleaf weeds. To get the most out of any fertilizer, we recommend that you maintain your lawn with adequate water and regular feedings. When mowing, remove no more than 1/3 of the grass blade at a time. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience please contact us to see what can be done. Did not kill weeds
on April 12, 2020

I applied this southern triple action on st Augustine grass and three weeks later the weeds are going strong. i applied it again last weekend, still does kill the weeds. I use a drop spreader and adjusted the setting to 8.5 per the instructions. The second time I adjusted the drop to 9.5, one week after the drop still not killing weeds. I bought this in a combo, triple action then the ultra feed. Has anyone else had this problem?

All this product did was kill my entire lawn. Not just the weeds, but my entire backyard!

We are very sorry for the issues you encountered with Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action. This product can only be used on certain grass types and extreme temperatures can cause severe damage on the lawn due to the nitrogen. This is not what we expect from this product, and we would be interested in discussing this further so that we can learn more about this issue and extend our product guarantee. At your earliest convenience, please contact us to see what can be done. You may visit our contact page by clicking on the following link: http://tinyurl.com/mds8zo5

Did nothing at all

Purchased enough Triple Action to do my entire yard. It was a complete WASTE of time and money. The product did absolutely nothing. I still have tons of dollar weed and weak grass. Extremely disappointed!
Response from ScottsBy Agent, Consumer Service, June 24, 2020
We apologize for your experience with our Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action Dollarweed can be difficult to control, particularly if the lawn is being watered too much. Most turf grasses only need 1 inch of water a week. Typically watering 1/2 inch twice a week will be sufficient for turf, while dollar weed thrives when there is excess water. We are committed to making this right for you. Please contact us at https://tinyurl.com/y8nvfsca and refer to this review so we can further assist you.
