Saves me time

Build a better lawn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Scotts Turf Builder prosuct for free to test and give my opinion. Easy to apply to entire lawn with my walk behind drop spreader. I wish you didn’t have to water it in. It worked great to green up the lawn.

Terrible. Did not work.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this product. Was applied as directed with my spreader set on the correct number on 4/7/24. It was watered within 12 hours after application of the product. 10 days later it did nothing with the weeds, clovers, etc. Reading through the other reviews it seems a lot of people are having this same issue this year with this particular product. I do not recommend using this product!

Feeds weeds really well. Doesn't do much for lawn

Didn't kill clover or dandelions, didn't stop fire ants from building their mounds, didn't seem to make much difference in the grass. Can't recommend this, it didn't seem to work for us. Bought specifically for our St Augustine lawn, but won't be doing that again. Had high hopes, but was left disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am fully impressed with the results of Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action. I have St. Augustine grass and it is always a great challenge to keep insects and weeds from my lawn. After an application about two weeks ago, I noticed a significant change in my lawn. My lawn became greener and I can see the dollarweed slowly disappearing. In addition, I appreciate that this product will prevent crickets, chinchbugs and sod worms for up to six months. This is truly a plus. Most of the products I used in the past only claim to have prevented insects for three months. This product was also very easy to apply. I fully recommend Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action!!!

Works well, interesting color choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product works as advertised. It does the work of the 3 different products, but only 1 treatment is needed for convenience sake. The only drawback I see is that the product is brightly colored and shaped similar to nerds candy. If a young child were to happen across it, it could be tempting to taste. There are plenty of warnings to keep away from kids and pets, but I thought it was an odd color choice that could lead to accidental ingestion if proper safety protocols aren't followed.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions
Cons: looks like nerds candy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in NE Florida (the Panhandle area) and have struggled for years with a yard that doesn't want to produce or keep my recommended St. Augustine grass. I had large bare spots and weeds growing in my front yard. After using Scott Turf Builder, I started noticing that the weeds were mostly gone (as well as a couple fire ant hills...added bonus!) and my grass was filling in. I gave it another application a couple months later and am now thrilled with the results! Scott's Triple Action kills weeds, fire ants and helps grow a green, luscious lawn. I love this stuff!
