The only thing that helps my plants to thrive if I don't feed to often. I have a black thumb and am trying to learn about keeping plants alive. I want to grow herbs for COPD recovery or help. I've gotten lots of phlegm up with decongestant herbs and I want fresh ones for tea instead of capsules. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. My pots on my deck take forever to dry out. Must slant them on some-thing and that helps. There are holes in the bottom of pots. Should I only water where plants are or get the entire dirt space in the pots wet?
