Bring back the drops!!

This product is horrible.
Why did you change it?
The foam is too inconsistent when it comes to the amount being used and it takes too much water to actually get it to absorb into the soil. Half the time the suds will just sit on top of the dirt and the next time I water I can see a white residue.
Do not purchase this product.
Cons: Messy, Difficult to use, waste of money
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Miss the old stuff

I have used the old miracle gro plant food for over 25 years. This "replacement" is not in the same league as the former product. I can't help but think of the New Coke debacle. A wonderful product is changed or eliminated when it is already popular and useful. This bottle doesn't last last as long. Is relatively expensive. Is not as convenient to use.
Cons: Messy, Difficult to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I loved the old version of the Miracle Grow drops. The foam version is a pain to use, runs out too quickly and often leaves unsightly foam after watering. Please, please, please bring back to old version.
Pros: Effective
Cons: Messy, Difficult to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a Good Replacement for Discontinued Indoor Drops
on November 1, 2014

We used the now discontinued drops for years and years, adding it to watering cans for outdoors as well as indoors. It worked great. The nursery said this this "stuff" is the replacement. It's not really a true "replacement"--it is an "instead of" because it doesn't work the same or as well as the "Indoor Drops" Fortunately we have a little of the original and we will find another brand that most closely matches it.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, doesn't work as a concentrate to add to water
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What to do when pump does not work
on September 15, 2023
Posted by: Kib
I bought the pump bottle and all I get is nothing or a drip. How much is a "pump" supposed to be? If it is more than a drop, can you tell me how much to measure out with a spoon or eye dropper to get the correct dose?
Response from Miracle-GroBy Consumer Services Admin, Customer Care, September 18, 2023
We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Miracle-Gro Indoor Plant Food and appreciate your feedback.
Each pump is equal to 4 ml and a teaspoon is equal to 5 ml, so if the pump is not working, you can mix 1 Tbs to 1 qt (32 oz) water.

New product is a big fail

Not sure why it was decided to discontinue the liquid plant food, but it was a bad decision. You do not get as much as you did with the liquid and it's more expensive. I used the older product for years and loved it. Tried the foam and am so disappointed. I will never buy this product again
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Messy, Difficult to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
