I have the best luck with LG refrigerators, and I am in love with their counter depth refrigerators because they don’t take up so much room in my kitchen. The size is just right for one or two people. The only downside is the filters. I have the new 1000L filter but disappointed in the performance. The water ice cubes taste like chlorine. It may be filtering out other substances, but this is my whole reason for having filtered water. My water is generally pretty good but I still have to use a Britta pitcher to get rid of the chlorine taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the refrigerator in January of this year. I love it. It has great area for storage of all my items. Love the flip of the shelf to accommodate extra tall items. The craft ice maker is awesome but we did have to replace the ice maker 7 months after buying. Hoping that was just a fluke and not going to be an issue. The big ice cubes are great for coolers and drinks. They are much slower to melt.

This is a great fridge, but the ice maker broke within the first week. LG support was great and sent out a replacement quickly, which took less than 10 minutes to install. The craft ice feature is cool, but the balls do not come out fully formed which is disappointing. Luckily I didn't buy this fridge for the craft ice. I do wish some of the design features on this fridge were a little more thoughtfully considered. For example, if the touch panel is off, you have to press the button twice to switch from dispensing ice and water. One button press to "wake the panel up" and one to make the switch. Despite this, I'm fairly happy with this fridge. It's my third LG refrigerator and I'd buy another one in the future.
