Maybe we have a lemon.. but this fridge is garbage

Bought this fridge in March. Since we received it LG has had to come and replace multiple parts, including the motherboard. Such an expensive fridge to have so many problems in such a short time. I had done research and this proved to have such great reviews. But going forward I will definitely research alternative brands as once the warranty expires we’re stuck with a dead fridge.

This LG refrigerator is high quality and loaded with features. The warning sound and notification to my phone if a door left ajar is fantastic. Shelf organization, temperature control, freezer space, water / ice dispenser are all top notch. My favorite feature is the craft ice which are a perfect fit for a high ball glass. Everything looks and feels top quality, especially the fascade which is striking.

Design and features good. Plastic bins not.

I've had this refrigerator for 2 years now and I like the design and features. Only complaint is that 2 of the 3 plastic bins on the left door have broken. The left door has the ice maker and when it closes, it tends to slam due to the weight. I don't have anything heavy in the bins so I'm disappointed the they have only lasted 2 years.

It’s actually about the same depth as my 90’s model double door fridge, however there’s so much more space inside. I also love the craft ice.
