Poor Power

I bought this for my 3 year old, and it runs great on a flat surface, but we have a small hill that is 10-12 ft. long in our front yard, and it will not make it up the hill. It shuts down and then eventually starts up again, but still will not make it up the hill. I have to help him up the hill. The front plastic control arm also broke in half similar to other reviews previously posted, and they do not have a replacement part. This is ridicules.

Ours works great. Our older son broke the front plastic control arms misusing it but we easily fabricated some new ones out of 4 pieces of aluminum square tube and some new bolts.

My sister bought this for her grandson on Christmas, we got it out of storage when the weather got warmer, rode it for one day but only lasted a few minutes and then died. Have charge multiple times but now will not move, sounds and lights turn on but it dies as soon as the gas pedal is pushed. Any suggestions?

Now day 1 it stoped dead and I replaced the power switch with a better one few days later and my boy loved it n we did to. When it’s working like it should it’s the best one my boy has ever had . The front control arms have week welds and break easy but I have a fast fix for that. Ran piece of all thread down tubing big washer on each side and lock nut as well . But now when u hit the gas pedal the power light goes off and it don’t respond. Guessing the other switches are junk as well but b4 I have to rip it all out n go buy real switches I’m hoping some on can save me time and help me fix it with original wiring harness in place . I hate to have ya rip it all out n start at square 1 . If my boy didn’t love it so flipping much ide throw it out or send it to huffy hq one piece at a time

Sub-Par Quality and design, ages 4-7

Huffy is a staple in the bike industry. So one has to wonder why they didn't access their limitless supply of round tubular steel.
The frame utilizes cheap square tube that looks to be 1/2", maybe 3/8's. I can see this as problematic down the road.
Next is the wheel base. Yes, this looks really cool. My son was very excited and I also thought it was awesome it had a suspension system.
However... the wheelbase is so wide that it can't fit through our gate entrance and we have to carry in sideways through. This places a lot of strain on the suspension system and axle. Another weak point.
Then there is the age range. It says 3-12. That is laughable. First off, a 3 year old is going to run into everything in this beast. There is no parental safety control and all they have to do is flip the speed switch. My 5 year old is about at the max even at just 46lbs. I can't even imagine an 8yo trying to drive this thing around in rabbit mode at .0004 mph. It's a 4-7 max age range.
Lastly, the big one. I'm referring to the MASSIVE turning radius. Our yard is somewhat narrow at around 18' usable. The steering linkage has a hard stop that makes it impossible to make the turn around, even with me guiding him.
I used some channel locks to bend the tab back flat and maybe gained an extra 1.5 degrees because the linkage is also a limiter and the hard stop seems to just protect the wheels from hitting the fender.
It's very frustrating. He can just barely make the turns now, but this means he has three options. An outer perimeter only lap, a figure 8, and Austin Powers mode.
Realistically to enjoy this, here's what you need;
Ages 4-7 < 60lbs Big open yard Low expectations on the life-span
