Couldn't live without it!

This is our 2nd oven. First one lasted 16 years. We use it everyday. Great time saver. Food taste great.

This is our 3rd Advantium. The improvements just keep getting better. Our first one was for our custom built house. When we moved to our farm we updated the appliances in the house that was previously owned. The one for sure appliance was the Advantium oven. Now we are on our third one since the previous one just wore out. This new one has many more features. We especially like the convection oven.

I previously bought a GE Microwave/Convection with a sensing probe in the late 70's and it lasted 8-10 years. The quality of this new Unit is outstanding!

Greatest Features: Convection and Speedcooking

I really like this oven especially because when using either speedcook or convection settings, it gets hot very quickly and temperatures are accurate. The microwave also works great with 10 settings - cycles on/off for settings other than the highest #10 which is on all the time (unlike inverter technology where microwave is constant on but at a lower wattage for lower settings). After following the installation directions, the oven was 5/8" too high in the rear and needed to be removed and reinstalled with rear of oven lowered. I would like to be able to have the clock always display - need to open the door, then the clock displays. Already made cookies and brownies. made pork loin using combination of settings - speedcooking and the microwave for various foods. Also, it does not heat up the kitchen like conventional ovens; however, the surface halogen lamp gets hot and a modification suggestion would be to replace the 50 watt halogen lamp with maybe two 20 watt equivalent LED bulbs spaced appropriately. This oven is already by far my favorite oven!

GREAT Speedcook Oven

This is our second Advantium. We were so impressed with the older model we had in our other home, that we added it to our kitchen upgrade in our new home. The added features on the 240V model are great. Not only does it do great grilled cheese sandwiches, but it does an outstanding chicken breast. There are so many foods that it does well and the new convection feature really allows you to forego the larger double oven configuration and substitute one of the ovens for the speedcook. GREAT JOB, GE!!

Perfect multipurpose appliance. I seldom use the range oven since this over the range device heats up faster and has convection air flow for fast baking.

I had my first Advantuim 17 years, a few problems but fixable. When it was not profitable to repair, I quickley purchased another. Right away I noticed it very hard to clean and the cooking time takes longer than my previous one. The metal seems soft and absorbs the splatters. The handle on the new one has a coating that is melting off. I checked the part and it says it is stainless steel. GE please! I think GE should replace mine and I would like to send a picture to prove it is melting. My first Advantium was in the same spot and never had a problem with the handle. I still recommend the product, just wish the quality and the cooking time would improve.
