I have had this model less than one year and I had to have the light bulb replaced and the knod replaced as it would not work. It was a good thing they were both on warrenty
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had to replace my first Advantium after 10 years and I was lost for 4 days without it. It is the BEST mircrowave/oven I have ever owned and could never go back to an ordinary microwave. I cook all the time and I need two ovens. This is perfect.

this is our second 240 advantium the first is still working fine (after 15 years) but it's white and we went stainless. based on my first 15 years of the first one i would only expect the same quality with the new one.

I just replaced my 2001 model Advantium 240V oven. The new oven has many new and improved features over my old oven. I am glad that I made this purchase.
