Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had another Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker, but this one is even better; smaller in size but brews same amount of cups; easier to put water and coffee in.

Great design plus great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this coffee maker. I had just tossed the individual serving coffee maker. This one has a great design that I can push into a corner. After cleaning up, I fill the reservoir and I am ready to go. When I want a fresh pot I just press on. The timer that tells me how long since I brewed the pot is great for judging if I need to pour the rest out. The automatic warmer off feature after two hours is wonderful. It is not too tall and fits under my cabinets easily. I do wish the cord was a bit longer though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I could rate this product on a one to five-star scale I would rate it with four out of five stars. Mind you, I am not saying that it is not a good product; because it is. When I first opened the box and started inspecting the product, I thought to myself “Wow” Hamilton Beach has got yet another top seller.
So, from unboxing; then inspecting; then reading the manual; and finally, one last looks-over prior to sitting it on my counter. Thus far I’m still saying to myself “Yep, a Five-Star Product”.
So, from unboxing; then inspecting; then reading the manual; and finally, one last looks-over prior to sitting it on my counter. Thus far I’m still saying to myself “Yep, a Five-Star Product”.
Manual says it has:
• a 12-cup capacity with brewing options of Regular, Bold, or small batch (1-4 cups)
• a Front swing-out brew basket and a Removable water reservoir with handle
• is Programable for wake-up coffee and a Non-stick adjustable heat warming plate
• a Self-Cleaning cycle with reminder
• a Time-since-brew indicator and a 2-hour Auto Shutoff
• Mess-free pouring with Automatic Pause and Serve
• a 12-cup capacity with brewing options of Regular, Bold, or small batch (1-4 cups)

Yes, indeed it does have all these functions and they all do function. So, typically I’d rate it as a Five-Star Product.
Now, let me explain why I am only giving this product a Four-Star rating.
First, I place the coffee maker on my counter where I always have a coffee maker, coffee pot, or what ever you like to call them. I place mine on the right side of my sink pushed to the wall.
I have deducted one-star for the following reasons:
• the first thing I notice is I cannot see the clock, nor can I easily use the function buttons. I fix this issue by turning the maker about 45° to the right.
• the Front swing-out brew basket is a job to access easily. I have two options to fix this: 1) step further down my counter to the right (3-4 steps) or turn the maker another 45° to the right. I choose the last option.
• the Removable water Reservoir with handle. Now I have to pull the maker to the front edge of my counter to I cannot get it out, not put it back in place.
• after adding the coffee grounds and then filling the water reservoir now turn the maker to the left about 45° still leaving the maker off-set by 45° to the right, then push it back towards the wall away from the front of the counter.
• The 2-hour Auto-Shut Off Function. Really with that part could be programmed in two-hour increments (i.e. 2-hour, 4-hour, 6-hour, and maybe an 8-hour). Now that I live alone and am older it takes me about 6-hours to drink a pot of coffee.

I have yet to use the Self-Cleaning cycle with reminder; I haven’t had the maker long enough as yet. Though the reminder will be a great way to remind me that the Optional Filter that goes in at the bottom of the removeable Water Tank needs to be changed out as well.
Woo! Now I’m tired and ready for a nap after moving that coffee maker around all over my counter for a cup of coffee.
What I would change in the design of this product to make it more functional:
• #1 – Set the back half of the maker (from the top to the bottom of the Water Reservoir area) turn it 90° to the left and set it in-line on the left side of the maker.
• #2 – Leave the Carafe, Filter Basket, and Warming Plate where it is (making it in-line with (side-by-side with) to the right of the Water Reservoir. Though, for the Filter Basket I’d either (make it a top-lift out type, or front slide out type).
• #3 – Clock and Program control area. Still leaving that to the right of the Carafe and filter area (just leaving still attached at the front of the maker just on the far outer right side of the maker shift that corner at a 45° turn to the right (clockwise).
What I like Best of all about this item. Is the fact that you now can pull out the water reservoir and wash it each and every time you make a pot of coffee.

Awesome coffee maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach coffee makers has always been a favorite of mine and the Hamilton Beach Easy Access Ultra Coffee Maker is no exception! I love that I can pick whether I want a regular or bold brew. I also like that I know exactly how long the coffee has been on and how long before it will automatically turn off. No longer have to fill up the coffee carafe and then pour it in the water opening to brew. The water container is a plus. So easy to fill it up and place on the coffee maker. Just a all in all great coffee maker. Kudis to Hamilton Beach!

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this coffee maker the night before my 6-week old (different brand) coffee maker died half-way through the pot. Excellent timing!
I've never really owned a coffee maker that has all these features. The choice of brew strength and temperature of the warmer is great for me, as I like my coffee strong and hot.
The size and removable reservoir are very nice. If my countertops were set up a little differently, it would be even more convenient for me. It also brews quickly and is programmable.
I really like this coffee maker. I've only had it a few days, so I have yet to explore one of it's functions, but regardless it is a keeper for me!

Wake Up to Fresh Brewed Coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got mine several weeks ago and really enjoy it! Waking up to the aroma of fresh brewed coffee helps me get out of bed in the morning. Me, my wife, son and grandson all need our morning coffee. We had been using one of the coffee makers that use the individual k-cups, but with each of us drinking several cups of coffee each morning, that was getting very expensive. Now I make one 12 cup pot in the morning and I'm spending much less for coffee. The easy access basket makes it a breeze to make coffee! I'm very pleased with my new coffeemaker!

Excellent Coffee Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this coffee machine and so glad I did! It's so very easy with it's easy access features. No more pouring in the water into the coffee machine and spilling water all over the counter. Instead, it has a reservoir that you can easily remove, fill it up with water, and place back onto the machine. It has a swing out basket for easy access to place the coffee grinds. Another great feature is it shows when the coffee was brewed so you know how long ago it was made, yet after two hours it shuts itself off for safety. I love this coffee machine and absolutely would recommend it. Thanks Hamilton Beach!

Like the Reservoir Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is programable which is a convenient feature. The reservoir is great as it eliminates washing out the pot to put fresh water in it. The only drawback is that it is about an inch too tall to remove the reservoir under my upper cabinets. I have to pull out the coffeemaker each time I use it. It is fairly fast to make a pot. Overall, I like this product.
