[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster oven is fabulous! We used it for Thanksgiving and it was so helpful to have an extra oven to use. It was easy to assemble and cooked the meat perfectly. I love that I can store it in our basement for when we don’t need it!

Perfect for Holiday meals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited until Thanksgiving to put the Proctor Silex 18qt Roaster Oven to the test. I typically cook my Turkey in the oven but decided to use the Electric Roaster this year. It’s the perfect size for a 20/24 pound Turkey.The Turkey fit very well with room left to get the baster inside to baste the meat you are cooking. It doesn’t cook as evenly as I would like. The bottom and the sides of the Turkey got browned to perfection but the top of the Turkey didn’t seem to cook or brown as much as the rest. I put a heavy towel over the lid and that seemed to help quite a bit.The Roaster worked perfectly fine and I don’t think the lack of browning on the top of the Turkey takes away from how well this electric roaster cooks. It took 3 1/2 hours to cook a 20 pound Turkey. I set the temp at 325. It comes with a booklet that tells you what temp to cook your meat at. I do like this product very much and will be putting it to use very often. Clean up is a snap. Nothing stuck to the removable pan. I almost forgot to mention my favorite feature. It comes with a removable rack with handles. Removing the Turkey is so simple because of it.

My extra oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is like having a whole extra oven! I do Alot of cooking, and most of the time I have several different foods that need to go in the oven at the same time, but on different temperatures. I can do so many different things in this roaster, whether it's roasting, steaming, baking, etc. I think all the meat I have cooked in here turns out even better than in the oven. Very easy to use and........ Delicious!

The cleanup is easy as well. I also love the fact that is a lighter weight than some of the roasters out there.

Perfect For Hosting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Proctor Silex 18 Quart Roaster Oven is a great tool! The roaster oven is sleek and very light weight. The gauge has a variety of heat settings from 125° to 450°. The inside lifts out easily, which made the oven super easy to clean after using it. I also love the metal rack that comes with it. The roaster oven came in handy when I was hosting a football party at my house. I needed my normal oven for other dishes and I was able to cook hot sausages, peppers and onions in the roaster oven. This freed up my oven, which I really appreciated, and allowed me to cook all of the dishes in time for the guests. The sausages, peppers and onions cooked perfectly in the roaster oven. After they were finished cooking, I cranked the dial down to the minimum heat setting and the meal was able to stay in the roaster oven to keep warm until serving. I can’t wait to use this roaster oven to cook other types of meat and I want to try potatoes in it as well. If you’re hosting and need a makeshift oven, then buy this roaster oven. It will not disappoint you during your special event!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this roaster oven and it is awesome. We cooked a whole bird and potatoes carrots in it and everything cooked perfectly. I put it on in the morning and let it cook all day and had no issues and everything was wonderful. It was easy to use and very easy to clean. So far no issues will definitely recommend to everyone to go and purchase for themselves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted this Proctor Silex 18 qt Roaster for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving so I could roast a turkey or a chicken. I was actually taken back about how big this roaster is. It will definitely fit a large turkey. I have only roasted one chicken so far since receiving this roaster and my whole family was very pleased with how the chicken turned out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing can definitely fit a feast — I have yet to use it for a full turkey or any other type of large meat cooking but I have used as a crockpot for a family style chicken meal and it was wonderful! We had leftovers for weeks.
