Perfect smoothie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 52 ounce blending jar. It makes enough smoothies for 4 people and the ice is blended in smoothly. I have used this blender for soups and it is perfect. This proctor silex blender washes up easily and the plug in the back pulls out nicely so you don’t have do deal with excess cord. Perfect blender.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was needing a new blender for my smoothies and this has been perfect. It’s sturdy but yet lightweight and easy to reattach for easy cleanings. The settings are self explanatory and get the job done. I definitely recommend this blender is you just want something that will blend your food/ice and is fast and easy.

I have to say it did not disappoint with the size and power of the blender and I feel good with a glass jar! I believe it works well under harder conditions such as crushing ice!

I like how easy it is to use with the simple controls (4 different speeds) that I use for everyday blending. The blender is heavy duty with very durable glass jar. The lid stays on and fits tightly. It is powerful and is pretty quite. The parts are dishwasher safe which makes cleaning this a breeze. This blender is great for all kinds of different recipes. It does everything a blender is supposed to do well. I am very happy with the quality of this. It is definitely a great choice for a simple/everyday blender.

Amazing blender.

I have purchased several other brands over the years, some of them very expensive and claiming to be "quiet". (They weren't) As a result we were not expecting any relief from the ear piercing screech blenders make. This one surprised us. It is still noisy, except while it is napping between shifts, but the noise is much reduced, muffled and bearable. We anticipate its having a long life, largely because it came without the frilly options we never used anyway. Don't change a thing Proctor-Silex: you got this one right. And I love the color, I love the quality. It's just a good peice of equipment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a basic blender that gets the job done. It has 4 controls for lo, high, pulse to chop and pulse to grind. I make a lot of smoothies and it blended the ingredients with ease. The motor was significantly quieter than other blenders that I have used. The glass jar is a nice thick glass with a leak proof lid. It has a filler cap that you can use to add in ingredients while you are blending and it can be used with cold or hot ingredients. The power chord is stored in the base of the blender however you have to manually push the chord back in for storage,
