Powerful blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned a small hand held blender and chopped food with a knife. Always took to so long and often times my fruits do not get fully blended without me constantly stuffing it. So glad I got this Proctor Silex blender...it's a game changer! It is so powerful and versatile..can be used for pureeing, smoothies, even chopping! So much time is saved and frustration avoided. My food and smoothie comes out so much more well blended/chopped. The blender is very well made and sturdy. It is very easy to use as well. I immediately chuck out my old blender after one use of this new one. Now I can't wait to try more recipes because it made my life so much simpler!

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have never used anything other then the oster blenders, I grew up with my mom having one always. I gave this one a try and I like it better. The buttons seems easier to work with. The glass seems very strong, and high quality. It’s easy to clean. One thing is, make sure the handle is facing you always when use, otherwise it will make a wear noise and seem like it’s turning. It actually doesn’t look in position. It blends good, not perfect but good.

I used this one and was very surprised at how perfectly smooth my smoothie was. It blends very well and it's more quiet than my last blender. It's also large enough to make a smooth for my kids and Myself. It's a must have

Perfect smoothie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 52 ounce blending jar. It makes enough smoothies for 4 people and the ice is blended in smoothly. I have used this blender for soups and it is perfect. This proctor silex blender washes up easily and the plug in the back pulls out nicely so you don’t have do deal with excess cord. Perfect blender.

The settings are self explanatory and get the job done. I definitely recommend this blender is you just want something that will blend your food/ice and is fast and easy.

I have to say it did not disappoint with the size and power of the blender and I feel good with a glass jar! I believe it works well under harder conditions such as crushing ice!

I like how easy it is to use with the simple controls (4 different speeds) that I use for everyday blending. The blender is heavy duty with very durable glass jar. The lid stays on and fits tightly. It is powerful and is pretty quite. The parts are dishwasher safe which makes cleaning this a breeze. This blender is great for all kinds of different recipes. It does everything a blender is supposed to do well. I am very happy with the quality of this. It is definitely a great choice for a simple/everyday blender.
