My old laptop was an ASUS but i tried an HP but there was no Ethernet option. Even with 5G WiFi connection HP was slow. Decided to try another ASUS. Easy set up and love all the options to connect to the computer; including Ethernet.

This is my first gaming laptop and honestly I'm very impressed. I ordered a laptop fan cooler for it, as well as a keyboard, headset and mouse. I use it to game while I'm traveling and usually play steam games, Hero's of the Storm and World of Warcraft on it. I have very little lag if any, and that could be the internet. I pay for the extra fast speed wifi at the hotels I stay at, and hard plug in my laptop. If I had any complaints, I would say maybe add a couple more USB ports, there are only 3 total, but my cooler fan has 2.

Despite the amount that I paid for this computer, it has found many ways to let me down. The battery life is very poor, so I can barely get 3 hours of activity out of it. It shuts the screen off every time I unplug it or turn it on without it being plugged in, interrupting whatever I’m doing. Not to mention the computer information program, ArmouryCrate, is very glitchy and refuses to update no matter how many times I try. I’m an engineering student and need a good reliable computer to run programs in the near future, and this isn’t the computer for me. I will not be buying another ASUS computer until this company finds a way to remedy these issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
