Bought it last week to use for dehydrating....but...

Ordered this model in early September because it was affordable for someone on a fixed income and would fit in my small kitchen. One of the main reasons I bought this machine was because it has a setting for dehydrating, which I planned to use for fruits. In the manual, on page 16 under "Dehydrate", it explains how to use the trays that come with it, but specifically states at the bottom of that section "However, for best results purchase the dehydrator set." No problem, and didn't mind having to order more parts, but when I tried to do so found out there is NO part available for this machine! The ones they sell are for a bigger model, and when contacting the company was told they do not make the trays for this particular model, period, but I could buy a larger one that the trays DO fit for $150 more, which I can neither afford or fit into my kitchen! Because of this disappointing false lead-on am returning the Maxx 16, but wanted to let others know they don't even make the equipment they say to order in the manual, in case anyone has the same plans to use for dehydrating. Wasted a lot of time and money!
