Strong Plastic Smell

The user manual says that upon first use, the unit will emit a mild, non-toxic, plastic smell that should dissipate quickly. My condo still reeks like a plastics manufacturing plant over a week later even though I've kept the fans running and the windows open for days at a time. It's not as bad now on day 8 and I hope the smell fully dissipates soon but wow, it really wasn't fun breathing in that fumy stench 24/7 this past week.
*CAUTION* For anyone who is sensitive to off-gassing, especially if you live in a small space, I HIGHLY recommend keeping this unit extremely well ventilated for at least a week, probably more.
Oh yeah, and this machine fries your food just fine; the dual baskets come in handy.

My tale of woe

I am pleased with my new air fryer although I also really liked my old one NS-AF 53MSSO-C which was recalled. I followed all instructions and returned the air fryer on June 24, 2022 and was supposed to receive a gift card within three to six weeks. I have phoned the insignia recall number on August 17, September 23rd, October 7th and October 13th, still no gift card. I have asked them to send me a cheque directly if getting a gift card to me is such a problem. So yes, I recommend the air fryer, but I cannot recommend insignia for customer satisfaction, This has been a very frustrating ordeal!!!!

Best Buy essentials lightning usb cable

I’ve used this cable for under 3 months and it is already breaking at the end that connects to my IPad. Don’t waste your money buying this cable.
