The turner is fine but the tongs don’t grip the chicken legs or thighs very well. The tongs use a locking mechanism that rocks back and forth instead of the traditional ones that lock when pulled out and open pushed in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was hoping for better quality. The locking mechanism on the tongs is cheap and broke after about 5 uses.

Poor quality

The spatula bends way too easy and the rings hook won’t keep them shut. I have two different sets both Weber and these were more money, but poor quality.

These are perfect for the grill. They give you the extention you need from the heat on the grill you can't find with other spatulas or tongs. I feel safer!

Needs a re-design/poor value

They are visually appealing but the spatula doesn’t have a beveled edge to get up under whatever you’re grilling. This makes me end up pushing the item to the back of the grill instead of being able to get up under the item. Exasperating when other products are FAR more affordable.
The tongs are flimsy for the price.

I have had these for about 2 months and let me say these are the finest set of grilling tools i have ever used. The tongs are sturdy and long, the spatula feels great in the hand, i can flip burgers all day long and not feel it on my shoulder the next day
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed: far from "dishwasher safe"

The first set I bought failed their first time through the dishwasher: the plastic melted on the spatula, and the lock fell apart on the tongs. I got them replaced by the retailer, and the lock failed on the new set the first time in the dishwasher, too. I like the basic design, especially the longer spatula head, and the heavy-gauge metal, but I am terribly disappointed by the fact that these are in no way, shape, or form, dishwasher safe.

After 20 * years with a Weber kettle charcoal we moved and opted for GAS! GREAT decision! Cleaner, easier, quicker, flexibility of two burners for multiple items.
