Could be great but missed on two main features

We have had this for almost a year now and I find myself not using it any more for two main reasons. 1. Battery life is Terrible. Why not provide a plug in option?? Unless I remove the batteries after each use they are dead in a week or two. We turn it off and it still slowly drains batteries. Major pain. 2. Like many others who review, the Bluetooth is hit or miss. If you wander off to the garden to pick some herbs or into the house to prep food you lose your Bluetooth connection. So stay close to the BBQ. Otherwise, the app is great. Very helpful. When it works the food comes off the BBQ perfect every time!

Great But need longer Bluetooth range

It’s way to use and enables cooking almost any thing nice and slow. No need to run out side constantly.
However when I go to the far end of my house the Bluetooth is out of range.
It would be good if they could increase the range or add a WiFi version.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad to hear that you're enjoying your iGrill 3 and we appreciate you sharing your suggestions with us.
To help with Bluetooth range, we suggest periodically resetting your iGrill 3 by following these steps:
1. Press down on the power button until you hear a beep 2. Open your phone's Bluetooth settings and remove any previous pairings of your iGrill 3 3. Restart your smart device, open the app, and pair
Hardware works. Software needs work. Chicken not cooked when internal temp reached.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used the probe for the first time today in 2 different species of Meat and WOW! It made cooking so easy and I didn’t have to stand there the entire time. I’m looking to max it out and get 2 more Probes. Love it!
Very good product and it helps produce excellent meats! The only issue I ever had was connecting to the bluetooth. I had to delete the app and reinstall it. Other than that it is an excellent product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Range is not great would love to set notifications

The range on the Bluetooth is not great. Has to be reset often. Also it would be great to be able set notifications and use the sound on my phone for notifications. Watching the temp go up 1 degree at a time gets boring. That said the ability to cook to a specific internal temp has changed my bbq life and I want to try a standing Rob roast next
