I used the probe twice so far. The probe was on target for prime rib and filet mignon. I also love the recipes. I flipped my filet mignon halfway through the temperature. Too bad Weber didn’t have a portable probe for rotisserie.

Having 2 sensors saved Thanksgiving!

I bought this for Thanksgiving - had a 23 lbs turkey to cook on the weber. I stuffed the bird and put it out for the required 4-5 hour cook time. But even though I the grill temperature was 350, the bird was cooking way too fast. You could tell because of the graph on the app. I lowered the grill temperature a few times to slow down the turkey cooking time. Without both of these sensors, the bird would've been done waaaay too early. One of the best turkeys I've cooked for the extended family!

rubber melted on first use

with the probe inserted into a nice piece of salmon on a ceder plank, the rubber coloured rubber on the probe melted off....hopefully into the bbq and not into the salmon as I didnt notice till we had eaten it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Connectivity Issues

Terrible connectivity. Looks nice when attached to new Genesis and that's where the positive review ends. Constant lost connection, both iOS and Android OS. At one point I placed the iPad on the grill side table, right above the igrill 3 device and it still couldn't "find" the connection.

I bought this about a month ago. My only issue is not with the product itself but you have to choose between the iGrill and the propane tank gauge. It is one or the other and that I don't like at all.

When using the iGrill 3, you can access your remaining fuel levels in the Weber iGrill App. Just head to the app, tap on Temperature, then the gear icon, and you'll be directed to Device Settings where information regarding your iGrill 3, included the fuel levels, will be listed.
