I am not mechanically inclined. I thought it would be a snap. After reading the directions twice, I put the entire kit aside. A waste of $100 bucks.

Worthless Garbage

Despite following all instructions and trouble shooting instructions, it continually loses connection, even if the phone is right next to the grill. I have tried it on multiple phones and still experience the same, bad results. This product is terrible and Weber should have refunded my money when i first complained.

Hello! We are very sorry to hear that you are experiencing some connectivity issues with your iGrill 3. We would suggest resetting your device to improve connectivity. Please follow these steps from your Bluetooth settings menu:
• Tap on the icon to the right of the device and tap ‘Unpair’ • Turn Bluetooth off on your smart device • Completely shut down your smart device • With the iGrill 3 still powered on, press the power button on the front of the faceplate for 15 seconds to reset the iGrill 3 • After 15 seconds, the iGrill 3 will flash indicated that the reset was successful • Power on your smart device and turn Bluetooth back on • Open the Weber iGrill App • Tap on ‘Start Grilling' followed by 'Pair' on the photo of your iGrill 3 • Tap 'Continue' once paired

Missing features

The igrill app doesn’t allow for propane tank level monitoring. Also no control of the lights on grill. The app needs a 2017 / 2018 upgrade to the new grills. I chose the igrill3 for these features Otherwise I would have bought the standalone igrill.

Have overcooked first couple of things I has enough tried. The temps don’t coincide with a basic kitchen thermometer. About 10 to 20 degrees off. Pretty disappointed.

The temp probe reads the temp of the grill not the meat
