Measures Temp but poor connection

Does a good job of measuring temperature. Only stays connected to phone for about a minute and have to turn device off and then back on to get it to connect. This happens even if leaving phone with screen on right next to the device. Does not allow you to monitor temp from a distance. Poor purchase choice. Should have purchased a device with a bettter connection

The temperature probe is not accurate. I was disappointed

Probes died with very little use

I have attempted to cook multiple roasts with this device. Each time I get wild readings without changed the sensor position. I believe that the probe wires are shorting out but this does not help when I get a full cooked message 320 minutes after a roast is placed on a low grill. I move the sensor and then in a couple of minutes I get the message that the roast is at 500 degrees. This product is not worth the money or the hassle of trying to get it to work.
I love the idea and am ashamed of Weber for putting such a device on the market in their name.
I have owned this for more than a year maybe 18 months but it has been in my cabinet for at least a year because it did not work.

Happy it has gas volume indicator. It cooks well and it's built rugged.

This came with my genesis II grill. It comes with no instructions. I can't tell if it is on or off. When I plug it into my meat, it may or may not be registering a temperature.

$99? Really? Like Sharper Image—Over Priced

It works. A rich neighbor has one. He has everything. You can get wireless thermometers for $20. But to have that all important degree reading show up in your smart phone, you have to pay $100.
bluetooth keeps disconnecting and once it disconnects, the iGrill3 doesn't pair again to the phone. Even after turning the device on/off and turning the phone bluetooth on/off. I have to go out and check the temperature with the old fashioned dial anyway. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. Really expected better quality from webber
