This came with my genesis II grill. It comes with no instructions. I can't tell if it is on or off. When I plug it into my meat, it may or may not be registering a temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Received with grill. Will not connect to any near by devices after maybe 2 months. Cool concept but lacking tech.

User interface needs improvement (how timers are set, beeping igrill when unlinked, other stuff I can’t remember).
