bluetooth completely non functional, as mentione in many prior reviews. A complete rip-off, tho to be fair the reviews were fair warning

You can’t get more than 10’ from your girl or you have reconnect the Bluetooth. I don’t bother with it anymore. When will you come out with one that fits on the grill like this one and is WiFi?

Great idea, lousy performance...

After owning a very simple instant-read thermometer for a few years, I decided to buy these “system” when I acquired a compatible Genesis LX grill. Although the general idea is great, in practice this thing does not work at all! After setting it up and connecting the probes, I get about 3 minutes of good readings on the app, afterwards, the signal keeps getting lost and I must reboot the iGrill system in order for it to send the reading again. This happens about every 2-3 minutes, which is absolutely annoying, considering its intended purpose of monitoring cooking temperature continuously. I would definitely not recommend it and will have to go back to my old thermometer after spending more than double on this...

- Press down on the power button until you hear a beep - Head to your phone's Bluetooth settings and locate your iGrill 3 in the list of connected devices - For iOS, select "Forget this device" or for Android, select "Unpair" - Restart your phone, open the app, and pair

Firsts off I am a huge fan of Weber products, now for the bad. I bought this at the end of the grilling season last fall. The first time I tried to use it, I installed all the components and batteries, and it would not turn on. Had to cook without it. waited 4 days for a response from customer service before exchanging for another unit (exchanged before I was contacted).
Second time it worked perfect, was very happy with the results.
3rd time trying to use was early spring, turned it on, connected to my phone and all is good. I hooked up a temperature and it was reading 244 degrees before the grill was lit. Hooked in a different probe, and it worked fine. This could be an even more expensive device if you have to buy a new probe every time you want to use it.

I bought the product 3 weeks ago and it does more than I expected. Easy to fit. Simple to use. Perfect results every time. Saves going in and out. Pungent food smells outside not inside. I love it.

Purchase 30 days ago and works perfect with my phone
The technology and software work well. The one issue is removing or adjusting the hot probe. If you leave the black plastic on it could melt in the hot grill. If not the metal is too hot to touch.
