Great Waffle Maker

The DuraCeramic Stainless Steel Belgian Waffle maker has an attractive design. It is lightweight and sturdy. The instruction manual was easy to read and it made first-time use a breeze. The waffles were easy to make and tasted great. I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

I received the DuraCeramic Stainless Steel Waffle Maker free of charge for the purpose of review. After several uses, I have found it to be a quality product. Nothing has stuck to it yet, it's easy to use and clean, and it heats quickly for use. I believe it to be a good value, although I'm not actually aware of the cost. It is the best waffle maker I have ever used.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super easy to clean!

I love waffles, but I've never been that impressed with the Belgian waffles I've made at Hotel breakfast bars. However the waffles I've made on this waffle maker have been absolutely top-notch every time I've made them. I've made waffles and top them with blueberries or cherries quite often not even fresh I'll fall some out and warm them up with a little butter and it is so good together you don't even have to have syrup. The other thing that's good is that you don't have to put a lot of oil in the mixture for this to become loose from the waffle maker itself, so these are not as oily waffles as I have had to make in the past; they are much more tasty this way. Please note: I did receive this waffle maker as a testing sample, and I'm very glad I did I will be glad to keep it!

Really good but could be great with one change

In terms of cooking experience, I have been more than happy with this Oster DuraCeramic Stainless Steel Waffle Maker. For the price, it is hard to beat, and is as good as or even bests models that cost 2 or 3 times the price. However, there is one small change that could DRAMATICALLY improve the usability of the waffle maker; make the waffle plates removable! The maker is a nightmare to clean after multiple uses, and once something gets caked on you have to take a toothpick or something similarly small to dig deep into the grates to scrape clean. I may even have to replace the maker if I can't find another way to clean it. Other than that only (yet significant) complaint, this waffle maker is a great value that produces an excellent waffle.

loved it for a few uses, then plastic piece broke

I absolutely loved this,we used it all the time, raved about it. then the plastic piece in the handle broke and now the wafffle mix litterally explodes out all over the place. So dissappointing. Kids are so sad

Died before its time

I received an earlier model of an Oster Belgian Waffle Maker as a gift two years ago. We tended to use it once a month over this time which I would think is moderate use. The good news is that we had no trouble with waffles sticking plus the waffles were tasty but not always evenly cooked. Yesterday, it just stopped working. I'm disappointed that it didn't last longer. I wouldn't buy another Oster waffle maker to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Non-stick no longer works

In the beginning this rapidly became my favorite waffle maker of all time. It's flip-over design was similar to the commercial versions used in restaurants and buffets. Unfortunately my euphoria was short lived as now every time I try to make a delicious waffle, I spend 10 minutes trying to remove it from the waffle maker. It sticks on both the top and bottom surfaces and requires a delicate touch to remove it in pieces that results in something that no longer resembles a waffle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1. Too much oil or a lack of oil.
2. Batter may stick if there is no egg yolk in it; must have egg yolk or oil for non-stick.
3. It is always recommended to spray a non-stick product on the plates. This helps reduce the chances of stick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a huge fan waffle maker. Quick, easy to use and cooks to perfection. Nothing better than a waffle on a Sunday morning, and Oster one is the best on the market. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.
