Works great so far!

So far we have made tri tip, chicken drumsticks, burnt ends, and babaganoush on our smoker. Everything has come out great. The controls are easy to use and it seems to hold temperature quite well- although it does seem like the weather affects the holding temp a bit up or down from the target. So on a colder day I was getting consistently about 217 when set at 225 and on a hot day about 230. I don’t think this is a huge deal. My nitpick is that the magnets that hold the doors shut are set a little too far in which makes the door bottoms have to move in farther than the top of the door when they are secured. It’s still functional, but it looks sloppy. I didn’t figure out why there wear gloves included in the package until I was covered in fiberglass insulation. Take note folks!

Best Smoker Grills

This is my first smoke grill and I really enjoyed using and for the price I highly recommend Z Grills, my coworkers told me about other brands at a higher cost and I thought I'm not familiar with smokers and said I'm going to try Z Grill and I was not disappointed.

Too early to tell

I was happy with how fast my order was shipped, how well it was packaged, and how easy it was to assemble.
I have only "grilled" with it one time so far. I was not very happy. I'm not sure if the outside elements are to be taken into consideration. It was windy and the temps were only in the high 40's. I could not get the temp to get over 400F.
I will keep trying, maybe it's the difference between propane grilling and pellet.

First Burn and First Grill - Easy and Delicious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill is so much easier and fun than my old gas one. The first burn process was easy and the first use produced great bbq. It ran a little low on temp but that can be expected due to the weather conditions I was grilling in but it was easy to adjust.

Set it and Forget it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly went well, burn in too. So far have done chicken legs & thighs, a London broil and thick cut pork chops. All cooked/smoked at recommended temps and times. Everything has been tasty without being over smoked. I've been a wood/charcoal burner for many years. Pellets and temperature control are the real deal. I've been converted.

Lid doesn't fit or seal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grill does do a nice job. I’ve used it a little over a week now and I’m pleased with the food results. Only complaints I have is the radius bent for the lid is off enough the heat loss was enough to turn the hopper lid blue from the heat. I had to make some shims for the hinges to force the lid back to close the gap. That helped with the loss not near as bad. Second issue is big temperature swings I’m sure some are normal but I have had it 50+ degrees over my set point. So now when I’m doing a long smoke time I will set it under the temp I want so I do t get to hot in the smoking process when I’m not there to watch it. Oh and be careful of the handle it is short and gets very hot I have to use heat resistant gloves to open it. Bottom line is I thinks it’s a good value for what you get just has a few flaws
