My opinion may be clouded

My opinion may be clouded due to fact that we leave the door and window open during the day and that the unit may not be large enough for our bedroom and bathroom which is a little above 500 feet. Would appreciate any suggestions to improve performance.

Making a difference

Affordable. Easy to move, set up and use. Pink noise is actually very cool. We own two of this model (and a 75i). The T500 is perfect for a bedroom or a study. Based on our weekly vacuuming of the pre-filter, we can see that the T500 is making a difference.

I love Alen Purifiers!

I love Allen Purifiers! I have 2 larger ones for the rest of my house. I bought this one for my sewing room. I spend a lot of time in there and my serger makes a lot of dust in the air. I have asthma and felt I needed to clean up the air. This tower purifier does a great job of that. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it is quite noisy compared to the larger units. I don’t sleep in there so its not that big of a deal for me but might be for someone else. I live in far Nor Cal and we get smoke every summer from various fires. I chose the filter that will handle that too! I highly recommend Alen Purifyers.

If I had to do it again, I'd upgrade

Seems like a good filter. Lightweight, easy set-up - feels like a high quality machine. However, it is louder than I expected. Using on the lowest setting and still makes significant noise. I have the larger, more expensive breathe smart 45i and it is much much quieter on lower speeds. This one is surprisingly loud. It does seem to filter well but runs about 60dB on high speed. Too loud for sleeping.

I have two 750 units

I have two 750 units & have loved them for a couple years so decided to get an additional two T500 units for my mother. They look nice, have nice gentle white noise which helps with sleep & they are so accurate with the air quality. Whether it's cooking or painting these machines know when to turn themselves up when set on auto. Having peace of mind we have clean air is amazing! Thank you Alen Air!
