Best investment EVER!

This item is an absolute game changer. We are the loving parents to a yellow lab and went from vacuuming multiple times a day to once a week. It has been nothing short of miraculous and we actually purchased one of the smaller versions as well for another area of our home after witnessing how amazing it worked. If you are a dog owner, take my sincere advice and order one right this minute!

Great with smell/ Dust and Dander still exist with Pet filter

I've have the 75I with Pet Filter for over 6 months now. The filter does help with the dog smell. I used to come home and the house would smell like dog and I hated it. After getting this unit, I don't notice the smell in my apartment, even if my dog smells up close and is in need of a bath soon.
I , however am dissatisfied with the dust and dander situation, as it hasn't been resolved... its still everywhere and it's still apart of my chores to clean up. I figured the size of this unit compared to my apartment size plus the cost of the unit would have at least helped out some but I don't see any difference. I've tried changing the spot where I put the unit. I've tried turning off/ on ceiling fans. I've tried different filters in my hvac.... no improvement.
Other than the dust and dander situation, I like the unit. The filter looks dirty and looks like it's getting clogged but the unit says it's still good and it going strong. I keep looking for the filter light to change but it hasn't yet. I do vacuum the outside screen of the filter weekly and that helps maintain the filter and unit productivity.
I'm a satisfied customer.

I’m extremely happy with my 75i . I live where cedar pollen makes me ill every winter. It sends my asthma into overdrive! Allergy shots, medication and wanting to move every year were a source of stress for me. However, now that I have the 75i I’m not near as miserable! What a blessing! I’m looking forward to a smaller one for my bedroom so I don’t have to carry it there every night and back out to the great room in the morning! I haven’t had it long but what a huge difference ! Buy one you will love it !

The unit has been running

The unit has been running now for a little over a week. It seems to be working well. Some of the strange odors I was noticing before I got the unit are mostly gone. On auto it was running on high for a couple of days, which is either a standard feature, or the air in my house was pretty filthy. I do notice that if I turn on a humidifier, after about 20 minutes, the fan switches to high. I'm not sure what that's about. Registering the product was a little more difficult than I thought it would be.

Best Model Yet

The 75i is our fourth Alen purifier. All are still operating, the oldest after seven years. Like all Alen models, they are super-reliable. We’ve been running most of them 24/7. But the 75i is by far the most effective. I experienced HEPA filters in electronics clean rooms and precision manufacturing environments, but I never expected one in my bedroom. Instead of a foam pad. the 75i pre-filter is now a fine-mesh screen that can be periodically vacuumed. Inside the unit, the pre-filter fits tightly so that nothing can bypass complete filtration. One concern is that, with the controls on top, it’s possible to accidently push a button. With the “Lock” button, we couldn’t use controls. With the “Timer” button, the purifier kept turning off. We can joke about it now
