Very Effective

It responds quickly to an open door or window, ramping up until room is back in "the green," or best air quality.
I wish it had 4 wheels rather than just 2.
I wish it were thinner or less bulky, although it is streamlined considering its size.

I'm glad I signed up for automatic filter replacement; otherwise I'd probably be trying "to save" the filters by turning it off when Air Quality is reported Good.

Working as advertised

Using the air purifier in a large (1100+ sq ft) basement where a minor mold problem has occurred. Within the first few hours the air in the room did not see as musty and skin irritation I had been having lessened. After a day or so the air seems consistently clean. The purifier running on auto is in the blue (best quality) zone most of the time, green some of the time and orange (middle) a couple of times over a couple weeks. When it is running it is usually at the second power level and the sound is very acceptable.

We have had the Alen Air Purifier less than a month, but it impressed me right from the start. Nice looking, easy to use and so quiet. Sometimes I don't even know it is on. I have noticed a difference already. It is more money than I wanted to spend but you get what you pay for. Air quality is very important in living well. I would highly recommend this model.

Worth the investment.

We originally bought a smaller unit for our bedroom and there was such a noticeable difference in air quality that we purchased this larger unit for our open floor plan den. The first thing we noticed was that we ( and the dog) woke up less congested with allergies each morning. The air feels crisp and clean. In the den, it has been a couple of weeks but we can now feel a difference in the air quality. These units are not cheap but they are well worth the investment.
