Skeptical- but glad I did it!

I live in an area where pollen/mold is high all year round and of course I have the worst allergies. I know there are several benefits from having an air purifier and research a ton. I came to the conclusion to buy Alen. My first unit was a bust, but the team quickly got me a new one and I haven't had problems since! I would say I would like to know if there was a test I could have done before and after to show the difference but I feel as though my allergies are definitely better!

Love the purifier!

This air purifier works great. I had it for 6 months so far. I mainly use it for my den/bedroom 12x10 on the second floor without an open window to outdoor. The room is not stuffy anymore. The lowest setting is very quiet, which I prefer to use during sleeping. The first time I thought I turned it off because the sound is so minimal. I use it about 12 hours daily. The maintenance is minimal, just wipe down the purifier exterior once a while. It looks sleek and blends with any decor.
One con is if I use the higher setting during sleeping, I woke up felt the air was a little dry. The higher setting noise is noticeable, like A/C noise to a fan. Overall it gets the job done and cleans the air very well.

Just within a day my breathing became more easier. I sleep much better and I am not waking up coughing. I bought another smaller unit to take into the smaller rooms. Life is more livable. For all allergy sufferers I recommend to get a purifier.

The Fit50 is a beautiful machine

I own two Alen Fit50s, one for my dusty bedroom and one for the living room/hall. They do a great job. They are quiet and powerful and work all day and night. When on Auto, the sensor is an excellent feature, as it adapts the speed immediately to any changes in the air. I've long been an Alen fan, as in 2012 I purchased two A 375s which have worked, and still work, continuously.

Lifesaver with great design

Very happy with my purchase! Got the FF50-VOC filter with the FIT50 and it worked great for what I was looking for. Our house was being remodeled for months, and I was having asthma attacks everyday & especially at night due to the construction dust. With my new air purifier, I was able to sleep through the night without waking up due to asthma as I had been for weeks - lifesaver! Later we found out that our ducts were completely clogged and that's why the air quality was so bad in the house, but the FIT50 really helped me to sleep during that time and not feel like a zombie during the day.
I've also used it in the kitchen when frying or cooking, and noticed that it filtered out the smell pretty well. Love the auto feature - it detects the air quality and sets it as needed - I don't have to guess what setting it should be on. And I like the different light indicators for poor quality and good quality air - very happy to see that blue clean air light after being red! Lastly, I didn't have a problem sleeping with it at the highest setting, in fact it was helping me to sleep, so noise didn't bother me. There's a hum of course, but it's not bad at all.
And to top it off, I got the wood grain design to match our log house, and absolutely LOVE how it looks!
