[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my watch for about 8 or 9 months and about 2 months ago I bought the non classic version cause, well why not. I like the futuristic feel of the black watch4 but when I'm dressed up I wear the watch 4 classic.

Info and functionality with a distinguished design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was never a fan of smart watches before. I was a tradionalist. I liked the look of traditional watches. It was more than a timepiece-- it was something that also talked about who you were -- a fasion statement. I never decided to to walk because of how many steps I had, etc. I had an early fit bit, but stopped using it after a couple months. Fast forward a decade and WOW. I don't have to take my phone out to pay or to answer phone calls. I can still read texts even if I don't have my phone on me. I can easily find my phone if I forgot where I put (not as much of a problem for me, but a game changer for my wife). The classic has the feel of a traditional watch with the benefits of modern tech. The health tracking is a bonus. The BMI measurement and activity tracking and the integration with daily calorie use are far more useful than "steps" alone. I even don't mind the battery that only lasts a couple days -- I charge it when I am getting ready in the morning and it goes from usually about 35% to 75% which is all I use during the day (for those who are concerned about lithium battery longevity, 25% to75% is the best operating range anyway) even with stress and Sleep monitoring/oximetry active.
I only wish the interbeat heart rate variability data was available separately and not just integrated to the stress reading. That measurement was one of best at measuring cardiac heath risk and is now only becoming practical with wearables (although I do worry with all wearables that the surrogate measurements may not always be accurate in some people whether HRV or sleep)

Decent Smart Watch Without Excessive Modern Look

Bought 2 years ago after owning a Gear S3 classic. I like the more "watch" look. Plus I love sensory things like the rotating bezel, it's has a nice sound, it's tactile and useful. The only frustration I had with the watch is getting my body composition measurements. It would always be tough, sometimes didn't read. Didn't really have any other problem besides the body composition being finicky.
