LOUD - and POWERFUL

First of all, whoever wrote and designed the US documentation, kudos to you! The instructions to convert my Deebot were intuitive and easy to follow. Very well written. The unit was well packaged, and assembly was a breeze. They even include a little key to unlock and remove the caps on your existing unit. I'm a little disappointed that they are going the disposable bag route, vs a bin you can empty yourself like the Shark-IQ, but it is nice for HEPA filter/allergen requirements. You can see underneath it if there is a clog or something, and they even included a screwdriver to put everything together.
This thing is LOUD and powerful muahahaha! It'll scare the stuffings out of your family, friends, spouse/partner, pets, kids, and environment. It thoroughly cleans out most of the bin, and even pulls dust out of some of the harder to reach areas. It spins the brush while it is emptying for 20 seconds, and this helps some with hair, but you WILL need to pull hair out of this thing every few days to weeks depending on your environment. The Shark IQ has a self-cleaning hair brush, and Deebot makes other products that self-clean the brush roll as well.
This thing needs A TON of room on both sides if you want the robot to be able to reliably return to the station. We have ours in a tiny laundry room, and it manages, but sometimes it gets GOOFY since it doesn't have enough room on each side.
For houses with a lot of pets, you can customize the robot to empty more often between cleanings, this way things don’t get over-loaded while you’re on vacation.
If you DON'T read manuals...read this one single thing....DON'T SET THIS NEAR STAIRS OR YOU'LL BE SORRY lol!!!!

Self Emptying base works well. Two evacuation holes assist clearing the bin out completely. Had for about 2 weeks now and highly impressed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The robot is very intelligent in terms of cleaning route choice and object recognition. The app is also designed well with a visual map that tells you the cleaning map of the robot. You know exactly where it went. 1 star off for the mopping function: it can not remove foot prints so not very powerful on mopping. I still need to mop myself.

can cause health issues

Fine dust is coming out of the auto-empty station when it is in use. Ecovacs should put additional filters to prevent the fine dust from coming out when the auto empty station is in use. Fine dust can be extremely dangerous, some sensible people will immediately feel it, others will not feel the fine dust but it goes into the lungs and can cause severe health issues.
