Flickering occurred when computer went to sleep. Possibly software problem. But my E27 didn't have the issue. Returned it for another E27 which is a more expensive Monitor that is an IPS Panel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great value and attractive design when looking for gaming monitor that won't put too much strain on your PC. I like its clean minimalist design and simple snap fit installation for stand without need for tools. I like the simple rectangular base which is more efficient space wise on a desktop than the diamond shaped base on higher end HP Omen monitors. One complaint is how cheap the 'On' button feels. It's simply a plastic tab you press on back of monitor. Feels unusually cheap but works.

My new monitor is great! Came to me in perfect condition and works as expected. No issues. I paired it with my existing Omen 27 Qed and after adjusting the omen to match the colors of the X27, they look great together. I'm using a RTX 3090 video card and stretching the display across them.
