Best oven on the market

This is a fabulous oven. In previous homes I’ve had Dacor and Viking ovens and the Dacor was OK and the Viking was absolutely terrible. Very loud and I’m not talking about the convection. Very uneven heat. Terrible oven. Nobody in the appliance industry could tell me about this GE profile oven so I was going on faith buying a GE profile and it’s been fabulous. There’s only two days a year that I wish I had a larger oven, Christmas and Thanksgiving but we’ve figured out ways to work around that and it’s so worth it because we don’t need an air fryer cluttering up our counter and this oven heats up so quickly And evenlyit’s been fabulous. Very even gliding shelves included so it works wonderfully in the island-Fabulous for a small kitchen because the doors don’t drop down as far so no wasted space. I can’t say enough positive about this product Now that I’ve had it working for six months and my other new appliances are a subzero refrigerator and a Wolf induction stove top (Both fabulous) so I think I know quality appliances.

Nice Oven, But No New Modes
on September 18, 2021
Posted by: KibJeff

Very nice, solid twin oven with a good user interface. However, this oven does NOT support Pizza Mode, Fast Preheat and other modes as advertised. These modes cannot be supported in this oven because each oven has a single heating element affixed to the ceilings of the chambers. If you are looking for the advertised features, you will need to buy the full-sized ovens. NOTE: GE customer service is superior. The first delivered model would not upgrade. GE quickly replaced with a working model. Nevertheless, the upgrades do not include the advertised features.

Hi there, we're pleased to know your oven is solid and that you had a positive customer experience with us, but sorry it doesn't have the cooking modes that you'd like available. We're sure this is frustrating for you so we'll be sure to share your feedback with our team for further consideration.
With that said, your oven should have Fast Preheat. If you're still having issues, we suggest taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) or by clicking here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We hope this is found useful and we're wishing you the best.

Hi there,
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. Certain features do require being connected to the internet to use. The oven should be usable without connecting to the internet. Try disconnecting the power and restoring it after about a minute. If you are still unable to use the oven without connecting to the wifi, service may be needed. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We certainly apologize for this inconvenience. All the best. Mike@GEA

Fantastic! Why did you stop making it?!

This was the Perfect! solution to us not wanting to add a second full size oven, but wanting a second for those few times per year. Fantastic investment! Especially after the update for air fry and the oven trivia. We call it the “The Oven” who knows all.

Two ovens in one
on April 19, 2023

We actually haven't used the oven yet, but it certainly fit the bill for us. We wanted the flexibility of two ovens in the space for one. We don't cook really large items so having a smaller main oven was okay with us. The unit is beautiful and the control panel is straight forward. The shelves roll out on glides super smoothly. The oven is WiFi enabled so you can get information regarding the temperature and if you set the timer it will tell you when it goes off. You can't get the clock to get its time from the Internet which is disappointing.

Disappointed!

If you think you are getting a beautiful wall oven that looks to be fully integrated and flush-mounted to your wall oven tower like in GE’s photos and videos, guess again! This oven sticks out from the cabinetry and looks awkward and anything but streamlined. And that’s after my cabinet maker followed the guide and specs to the letter. GE’s photos do not show that and are misleading! The first 2 photos show how my new Twin Flex oven really looks from the side. The third photo is GE’s slick imagery. Compare. So when you see those fabulous modern kitchens in the magazines with flush-mounted, sleek wall ovens…well, this AIN’T it! I definitely expected better form+function, not to mention transparency, from GE. At least warn consumers that this oven protrudes from the wall. Show a side view. Also, GE told my cabinet maker that if he tries to do a “work-around” to fully inset the oven into the cabinetry, it will void the warranty. So disappointed!

Hello,
We apologize for any confusion it may have caused regarding the flush installation of the oven. The Twin Flex convection oven fits into a 30" single wall oven cut-out opening.
Twin Flex is not UL approved for flush install. For more information please refer to the link attached below: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=35296
We hope that the more you use your oven the more you will like it. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! -Charlie@GEA

I have only used it two times and it worked both times. You might wait 6 months to a year before asking for a review. I gave three stars because it looks good and it worked. Give me some time and I will give you an educated review.
