Works great..easy to install.......a bit on the expensive side and really should be included with the smoker at purchase. I ended up using the hopper for a shelf.

My wife got me a Tailgater for Father's Day a few years back. But I was having issues with not enough hands to hold everything I needed during a cook. Saw that these fold-down shelves were available and immediately picked one up. Very well made, fits like a glove, is now that 3rd hand I was always missing, and folds out of the way so the cover works perfectly with it. Great add-on.

The device is necessary not just an accessory! Use it every time I "fire up" the grill. I have roasted chicken smoked fish and baked pizza. Everything come out great! I am going to cook anything that I do in the kitchen oven in the Traeger!
