I bought the Samsung Slim mount to attach to my new Samsung TV. The mount is a unique two piece design but in my case the back of the wall was unfinished, 6 of 8 wall screws did not hit a stud, blocking was required.
Spent 2hrs on phone with Samsung and Best Buy, first ensuring this mount is compatible with the TV, as assorted special screws supplied were not the correct lengths for this TV. After speaking to several people from different departments at Samsung US and Canada getting no answers and looking at the instructions was unless (both Tv and mount) so I did what I thought I would have to do, measure and cut the supplied screws to correct length. Very disappointing as I assumed buying a compatible mount from the same company as the TV it would work no questions asked. Dealing with Samsung was painful.
I use the mount on a QN65S95B, in the end works good, hold TV close to the wall.
