these tv mounts ar specific to samsung tvs and only on certain models. they will do a good job of keeping your tv flush against the wall when finally mounted but they are terribly designed since the bracket spacing on each side is fixed and it sometimes would fit only to one stud and sometimes none at all. they give you only concrete anchors but no drywall anchors and the flimsy of paper templete. these are the worst designed mount on the market.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great mount but needs improvement.

I actually bought this mount more than a year ago and it did not work where I had the TV installed. ( custom made enclosure). Yesterday I moved the TV to a regular wall. The mount works like a charm. There is so little space between the wall and the TV I can't get my finger between them. The TV looks like a window. I ran my cables through the wall. The mount can be as close as 7.5 mm (.35 inch). It is a superior look.
My biggest complaint is that the wall mounted wings are not long enough to catch two studs. So two mounting screws will be anchored in a stud but two will be anchored in drywall. A point of weakness.
Second complaint is that you have to be very precise in your placement of the two wings. 1/4 inch too far apart and the brackets will not mount onto the TV. The paper templates provided for mounting were next to useless. This is a measure three times, drill once product.
Aside from that I love it.

Easy to install and only slight gap

We have used this for several 85" Samsung tvs and love how easy it is to install. TV is flat on the wall and looks great. Used with One Connect Box in wall hung cabinet below and wire in wall.
I would recommend this to a friend!
