The cover is very well made and has a good fit. I don't understand why some give this a bad review just because the cover is a great fit. I personally put it on and take it off my self. I have a herd time understanding why someone would complain about the fit or picking up a bucket when pulling it off. I personally take my bucket and brush and stick them inside until my next use. But I'd rather have a tight fit and pick my bucket up of my patio instead of out in the yard. Either way nice workmanship on the 885 cover Traeger!

Great Cover for the 885!

I bought this with my 885 a year ago and couldn't be happier with it. I have other grills with the manufacturer's cover and none have been as heavy duty and well built as this one. Yes it fits tight but I have learned to take my time in taking it off and putting it on. No worries about it blowing off.

Lost to wind

Came off in wind a few times. Last time blew far enough away unable to find it. Without tie down or tightening feature easy for it to blow off

I bought this grill cover at the same time I purchased my grill in 2020. It has always been a two person job putting this cover on the grill. In the past couple years it seems to be shrinking or maybe my grill is getting bigger. I don’t have any additional accessories on my grill, but would like to. It seems that all the positive reviews are from recent purchases. It’s a good 20 minute cardio workout. Best of luck to you.

Hi, and thank you for your review of the Ironwood 885 grill cover. While they might not be the case in your situation, some things that can have unexpected results are machine washing the cover as well as using harsh chemicals to clean it. The best approach is to simply wipe down the cover with warm, soapy water or a mild detergent, then rinse it off thoroughly. Additionally, it is strongly recommended that the grill be allowed to cool down completely before putting on the cover, as this can degrade the fabric in a few different ways. However, without knowing if any of this is related to your cover, you can always call Traeger support so an agent look into the details more thoroughly and see if the cause can be determined.
