Love it, fits the Traeger like a glove! Other one just got too brittle after years of sitting outside.

Extremely stiff, nearly impossible to put on
on January 3, 2026

The material becomes extremely stiff over time and nearly impossible to pull back over the grill. So stiff that the cover holds the grills shape when removed and can stand upright on it's own. For the price, completely disappointed at the quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Adam, thank you for sharing these details. If the cover has become extremely stiff and difficult to install, this can happen when materials are exposed to prolonged sun, cold, or weather, which can affect flexibility over time. The cover should remain easy to handle and protect the grill without excessive effort. We recommend contacting Traeger Customer Support at 1-800-TRAEGER so we can review the material situation, check warranty coverage, and help with a replacement or alternative solution.

Gets brittle and shrinks over time...
on March 3, 2026

Even after careful use/care, this cover becomes brittle and very difficult to both remove and recover. It continues to get stiffer & stiffer over time. We grill in the winter, too, and then its especially difficult to work with. It's actually made well & with good material, however, it should be made slighty looser to allow for the shrinkage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Haas, thanks for sharing your detailed feedback. Covers are designed for a snug fit to fully protect the grill, but exposure to cold temperatures, sun, and moisture over time can cause the material to stiffen, especially during winter grilling. Storing the cover indoors when not in use for extended periods and allowing it to warm slightly before removing or reinstalling in colder weather can help keep it more flexible. Since our grill covers are backed by a 1 year accessories warranty, we would be glad to review your situation and see how we can help. Please give us a call at +1-800-TRAEGER so we can take a closer look with you.
