I stopped using it. It was too difficult to put on and off. Looks great. Terrible design.

Hi, and thanks for your review of the Ironwood 650 Grill Cover. Ironwood covers are designed to provide a more tailored look as opposed to just having the draped on appearance of many other covers. Additionally, the shaped fit also helps keep the cover on the grill, even in high winds, preventing it from getting blown off and heading to Oz. But putting the cover on should get easier, once the fabric becomes more flexible, and the process gets more familiar, over just a little bit of time.

Thank you for your review of the Ironwood 885 grill cover. Grill covers are a good way to protect against the elements. Fading is a normal and happens when exposed to UV light. Don't machine wash the cover. Wipe down the cover with warm, soapy water or a mild detergent. Rinse clean. You can find more about maintaining your grill cover in our support section.

Well built with nice materials. The fit is very snug making removal and installing difficult.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your review of the Ironwood 885 Grill Cover. Although the cover will fit a bit snug, it should become a little easier to put on and take off over time. However, it is designed to be somewhat fitted, which is done to provide a more tailored appearance, as well as to help keep the cover on, even in windy weather.

Another perfect product from Traeger. Why you would ever leave your pellet grill or any grill for that matter uncovered is beyond me. So when you buy the best protect your purchase with the best!!

Ironwood 885 cover only lasted a few years. It fit great but over time has become very stiff and very difficult to take off and put on. Just last night it finally tore on one side. I understand being outside all year long but I didn't expect it to downgrade so quickly.

Thank you for your review of the Ironwood 885 Grill Cover. Without knowing the specifics, it is difficult to speculate as to why the cover didn’t last longer, but there are some general tips for keeping it in top shape over the years. While it's probably well known that they should never be put on a grill that is running, it is also important to wait for the grill to cool off before covering it, as they can still be pretty hot after shutdown. The cover should also never be put into a washing machine, or cleaned with harsh chemicals, including bleach, but rather just wiped down with warm, soapy water or a mild detergent, then rinsed clean. However, all of our covers fall under the Traeger warranty for accessories, so it is always worth contacting our customer service department as soon as any undue deterioration is noticed, as it may be covered if caught in time.
