In the cold winters of Utah this is amazing at regulating grill temperature (preventing dips and peaks) and using less pellets during your cook! Definitely recommend.

This fits great and is just what I needed to use my smoker when the temps dropped. Just remember to remove it when the outside temps rise above about 40 degrees or your cook temp exceeds 350 degrees. Love it.

Does it’s job. Really poor quality that it can’t be used with high heat. High heat will ruin it. I’ve gone through 3 so far. But yet when it’s cold outside the grill won’t maintain high temps without. Seems silly.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my family this past year and it is amazing! We had a terrible winter storm in Tennessee this year and I've had no issues using my Traeger in single digit ambient temperatures. Pellet use is down significantly. I love this thing!
